Simplicité is launching its App Store!

Simplicite is launching its App Store!

We had this new feature in our pipeline for some time: The Simplicité App Store.

What is available?

The Simplicité App Store will give you access to various elements:

  • Demo sample templates developed [Demo order/Demo Website Front/Pizzeria/Burger]
  • APIs (also called tools) [Trello/Slack]
  • Examples of integrations with other frameworks [Vue.js/Mustache/NodeRed]
  • External connectors [SalesForce/Opendatasoft]
  • Data lists [ISO countries, ISO Currencies, Currencies conversion rates...]

How does that work?

It's very simple, just go to the left menu “App Store”

Click on the “Install” button on the item you want to install.

The installation is carried out in the background. Then the platform offers you to empty the application's cache, after a reconnection your module is installed, you can use it!

Finally, by default, imported modules are devoid of any data. You will therefore have to import the related data sets.

How are the applications served?

The App Store is connected to our GitHub repository. In this way, as soon as we update an App Store module, it is deployed and accessible. This also means that we are going to enrich it over time.

Is it possible to have your own App Store?

Yes! In fact, this is the purpose for which the App Store was developed. This way you can create your own business app store yourself.

How is it possible to publish to create your Store/applications?

To do this, simply put one URL per App Store line on the value field of the system parameter: STORE_SOURCE

To do this, you can take inspiration from appstore.json
